But there’s a more fundamental reason why he came to power, and that’s because of passage of the Nineteenth Amendment just a few short years earlier. From there forward we became more and more a welfare state. For many women, the government is their husband, providing for her and her kids as long as there’s no real husband present. The black family, for instance, used to be the most nuclear of families. LBJ’s Great Society changed all that.
FDR was a closet communist and openly a socialist in my view. You're a 100% correct about LBJ's Great Society (aka Horrible Society) as being a big problem that has been a record setting agenda for destroying communities and families for decades now.
I believe that we are in a Great Awakening, not just here in the U.S., but with the entire globe. This populist revolt that is spreading is really building steam, but I wonder just how much steam it can build?
I'm not sure, but I believe it's the job of people like you and myself to keep throwing rocket fuel onto that fire that powers The Great Awakening to overwhelm these Global Communists/Socialists.
