The War on Emotional Stupidity

Preface

The divide associated with the viewpoints among the current population today concerning the direction of the country is thought by many to be as vast as the Grand Canyon and even that may be the origin of where both sides are at their closest point of agreement. 

I’ve always followed the political landscape and since all of us tend to use labels in order to describe ourselves I’ve traditionally considered myself to be more libertarian in nature. However, in terms of my political leanings what I really am is an American First and after that everything else is secondary. 

Now I want to jump back to the part about looking at the great division within society of where people are in such strong opposition concerning their political views and the direction of the country. In my view this current great division isn’t something that just organically sprung up for all of us to see on a daily basis with our social media feeds being hammered relentlessly with the war between corporate media and the decentralized grassroots media. 

The reason it’s not organic is because of that keyword that I just injected into that last sentence. Which keyword would that be, you ask? 

That would be War. 

Yes, it’s not a naturally occurring divide that you’re seeing because our country is literally at war with domestic Marxists and Communists that are looking to destroy it. The threat to us here relies with those who are either apathetic to this reality, or they happen to be a part of the kumbaya feel good crowd who once again are relying on their emotional stupidity to guide them rather than simply taking five seconds to pause and to observe this reality of being at war.  

So what do I mean about observing reality? 

For starters, when closely examining those two media combatants I just described and what they stand for, it should tell you everything you need to know in regards to the direction of the country along with the reasons why all of the chaos is happening throughout the world.   

I mean on the one hand you have a corporate media, or what I often refer to as the wealthy and powerful Administrative State Media (ASM), that relentlessly spins the lies and narratives that are directed by their paymasters. On the other end of the spectrum you have a more decentralized media fighting and pushing back against this ASM apparatus. The decentralized media I’m referring to consists of platforms such as this one combined with citizen journalists that will literally show you events occurring on their camera phones in real time. 

To me this is the obvious reality and this is the best way to understand and discern who is being more honest with you. In other words, who is risking more? Who is putting more on the line to get to the truth? Who is being punished more by speaking up? 

If you have any intellectual honesty about you the answer to all three of those questions would be the decentralized media outlets and citizen journalists. 

You see in my book the new ecosystem of decentralized media is considerably more honest than the ASM and they prove it all the time. 

How is this you ask? 

Well, for starters who was running Twitter prior to Elon Musk purchasing the company? Well, just in case you didn’t know that would have been the FBI as Matt Taibbi showed us with the files that Elon Musk uncovered after he acquired the company. 

That’s right, Twitter wasn’t decentralized at all during that time. In fact, it was completely state run media and most of the public didn’t have a clue despite the fact that all of the evidence was there along with them deplatforming a sitting president. Furthermore, aside from it being information warfare with the state using this media platform against the citizenry it’s even worse than that as it was also a form of economic warfare with Twitter (under the control of the Feds) having misled and lied to all of their shareholders. In reality, Elon Musk didn’t purchase a company, he purchased a crime scene. 

However, those people who rely solely on their emotional reactions often fail to observe realities such as this, or are simply too unaware, or not intelligent enough to think through such corruption in order to see it for what it actually is. 

This is a staggering problem as many Americans simply have vacuous minds when it comes to observing reality and possessing the ability to form their own opinions on something that is obvious to the individual with the critical mind, but blind to the individual dominated by their own emotional stupidity. 

The Degradation of Civic Acumen 

People who are overly emotional also tend to lack self-discipline. 

This is not a hyperbolic statement, but rather a statement that is rooted in reality and it’s a reality that I have had firsthand experience with in my career for over twenty years. If you’re new to my Substack the reason I say that is because I’m a professional fitness and strength coach and have had over twenty years experience working with both competitive athletes, as well as the general public over this period of time. 

Throughout my career I’ve encountered individuals who respond very well to instructions on how to go about building themselves up and making themselves stronger. At the same time I’ve also had to deal with people who want to make excuses as to why they should, or shouldn’t engage in certain recommended training modalities, recommended nutrition, recommended lifestyle changes, etc. because the thought of breaking old habits to replace them with new habits isn’t comfortable. You see, in order for one to force themselves to do something that isn't comfortable requires self-discipline. 

Understanding this reality as it exists in this context is exactly why a lack of discipline, combined with one being faced with discomfort, often results in an emotional response. I mean it’s human nature for all of us to react emotionally in some circumstances whenever we are challenged, or called out on our habits, our views, or our perspectives on any given topic. 

This is certainly true whenever I’m trying to help others to develop healthier and stronger bodies, but before there’s any improvement in the body the mind must be sorted first, and this process of sorting the mind isn’t always a pleasant experience depending on the individual. 

Just as there’s a discipline for one to maintain their own physical and mental health, discipline is also required when it comes to one maintaining and exercising good civic acumen. That word civic revolves around the concept of what it means to be a citizen and understanding community affairs. 

The other word acumen pertains to your ability to make good sound judgements, particularly in a specified field or domain. Here with the concept of civic acumen it boils down to you understanding what good judgements should be made for you to maintain your healthy level of citizenship. 

Just like your body requires good habits to build it up to be stronger and resistant to disease and injury, your ability to exercise good civic acumen builds up and maintains your sovereign ability as an existing citizen. 

However, if you practice poor habits, exhibit poor judgements, and demonstrate a lack of self-discipline in terms of your civic acumen then you’re at risk of degrading the health of your citizenship just as poor habits, poor judgements, and a lack of self-discipline in regards to your health would put you at risk of degrading your physical health. 

In fact, we’re seeing just how sick and unhealthy we are as citizens right now as our lack of civic  acumen has resulted in a communist infiltration of our state and federal governments across the country at large. 

The Wrap Up

In short, discipline is a necessary component in order to maintain your health both physically, as well as the health of your citizenship which is particularly vital in today’s world. 

Furthermore, just as your body requires your self-discipline to adapt and learn to address the needs of your physical health, self-discipline is also required for you to learn and adapt to address the needs of your citizenship by developing your civic acumen. 

Therefore, if there’s a lack of self-discipline on your part to address your needs as a citizen and what the impact of that role means on society at large, then both you and myself are more than likely going to be subjected to a destructive outcome.  

If you find yourself lacking in that self-discipline and end up having to face a little discomfort then you are likely placing yourself into a position to be guided by stupid emotions that will lead both yourself and the rest of society to a horrible place.  

You see, this is my problem with the delusional kumbaya crowd. 

These undisciplined emotional people swoon all over the communists that have spent the last four years destroying our country simply because they like to see them walk out on stage with their family and some musical performer like Pink during the DNC in Chicago to make themselves seem somewhat relatable. 

The kumbaya crowd are solely caught up in the vibes of the DNC, while at the same time, failing to notice any proposal by the Democrats whatsoever on any substantive policy visions for the future of the country. They fail to notice because the Democrats have no policy visions to offer except the ones that they want to steal from their political opposition. 

The kumbaya crowd completely lacks discipline in civic acumen and is being led by their own emotional stupidity which is why decentralized media exists to rub their noses into the reality of literally everything they’ve been wrong about. 

The decentralized media platforms such as this one are here to take on the role of waging this war on emotional stupidity.  As a result of this war the undisciplined will either learn discipline on the other side of this, or these people will be even more miserable than they currently are in the new world created by the Army of the Awakened.
