Over the past 20 years of my career as a strength and fitness coach I’ve naturally had my own specific philosophy and messaging in regards to helping others to optimize their health and individual status in life just like any other self respecting coach would.
Now I get this is not a very surprising or shocking admission on my part at the moment, but please be patient with me as I’m leading up to a larger point for you here and will be diving a bit deeper into this subject with a fellow colleague in the industry Jerry Kuykendall in this very article. So please stay tuned.
In fact, during my career I simply shared an age-old message that used to go hand in hand with many of my fellow colleagues and fitness coaches in the industry that I used to believe was “the anchor and stalwart” in terms of the dominant messaging associated with the entire fitness industry in general. However when COVID came onto the scene that changed everything.
So what message am I talking about?
For years every fitness coach I’d ever known preached the same message to their students and the general public that asserted that people should learn to take responsibility for their own lives and health. The messaging, though abundant in variations, has always been simple and consistent. TAKE OWNERSHIP of what you put into your body and commit to a healthy and active lifestyle.
Now you may be reading this thinking Brandon what changed? Well if we could go back and look at the messaging from 2020 up to present day at the news media, my social media newsfeed, and many colleagues in the fitness industry you’d see a completely opposite message.
So from pre-COVID to post-COVID the message completely flipped from “You should take responsibility for your health” to “You should allow OTHERS to take responsibility for your health.”
Whoever controls the media, controls the mind.--Jim Morrison
There has never been a time in my life where I witnessed such a large number of people simply fall in line to do what the TV told them to do as the quote above from the great Jim Morrison so succinctly states.
To elaborate a bit further on this I can recall both one of the creepiest and funniest moments that I personally experienced in this matter just a few days following the mandated lockdowns of what the almighty Governor and corrupt establishment politician Brian Kemp defined as non-essential businesses here in my home state of Georgia. Don’t even try to argue with me on this point because those were his words, not mine.
During that first week my business was certainly one of the victims of the Marxist lockdowns that were spanning the globe. At that time masks were not mandated, but out of fear much of the population had already started to herd up like sheep to wear the masks into public stores because the news media and St. Anthony Fauci told them so.
Just after the lockdowns I remember having to head out to the store to purchase a few items so I drove up the street to Target to do a little shopping. I didn’t have a mask on and as I walked inside the store I quickly realized that I had hundreds of eyeballs glaring right at me as I walked into the front portion of the lobby. I quickly realized I was the only guy standing there without a mask and I could deduce that I was probably being looked at as public enemy number one by the mob.
It was at that very moment I felt just like Roddy Piper in the great cult classic movie by John Carpenter titled They Live. The scene I’m referring to is the one where he backs into the inside of a bank after running from some bad guys.
If you’ve seen the movie then you know when he’s wearing a special pair of sunglasses he can see the real world which reveals a world mostly run by alien invaders that are also camouflaged in a false reality and utilizing mass media to communicate subliminal messaging telling people to Stay Home, Obey, and to Watch TV. Talk about art imitating life…or is it life imitating art? I suppose it goes both ways in my experience here.
At that moment Roddy Piper utters the line “I came here to chew bubblegum and kick ass, but I’m all out of bubblegum.” That moment I walked into the Target I had the sunglasses on, but I didn’t need any special sunglasses to see the truth and reality that I was witnessing firsthand. I also didn’t have a shotgun just in case you were wondering, but I digress.
$cientism Not Science
The reason I’m telling you this is that the mass formation psychosis that I witnessed inside Target that day was just the start. From around that time moving forward I not only witnessed everyday people wearing masks, but they were advocating for it.
From there the mask wearing went on and then that transitioned into people advocating for lockdowns, then advocating for testing the healthy, to ultimately advocating and even demanding for the mandate of being vaccinated.
This entire experience was so surreal and so harrowing because it was rapidly occurring to me that as a society the age-old message of taking ownership of one’s health had completely given away to a fear campaign where SOMEONE ELSE would decide for both YOU and ME what was best for us. This was an immediate red flag to me.
Not to mention this was ALL done under the pretense of “Science,” but it wasn’t science at all. In fact, there had never been any peer reviewed study that demonstrated that masking up proved to slow the spread of the virus at all. Furthermore, even if people believed the lie that it did, that still never explained why people had never masked up during any other major pandemic like the H1N1 Flu of 2009. We know the answer why people didn’t mask up for the flu. It’s because the TV didn’t tell us then, but told us on a nonstop loop during COVID.
The point to all of this is that none of it was based on empirical data backed by science, but rather a “Belief” in what the public perceived to be science, but actually wasn’t science at all.
This belief is what is known as Scientism which is a far cry from actual Science.
So you can imagine how shocking it was for me when I logged into my Facebook and Instagram accounts and saw my newsfeed covered up with colleagues of mine in the fitness community advocating for their clients to mask up, to stay out of the gyms, and actually giving people medical advice by telling them to go and get vaccinated.
At that moment I realized that literally 95% of my colleagues in the industry never believed a damn thing they ever preached about telling others to take responsibility for their own health, BUT rather believed it was acceptable to allow the news media, bureaucrats, and societal pressures to dictate to them what to do with their bodies. For a virus that had better than 99.4% survival rate this was the single biggest act of cowardice that I had ever witnessed in my life and it was literally happening everywhere.
In fact, when I witnessed that happening it was my BIGGEST motivator to be doing what I’m doing now writing about this to inform you. I was incredibly disappointed to find so many of my colleagues in the fitness industry to be complete morons and cowards on such an obvious lie that we now know to be the biggest fraud of our time.
However it wasn’t long before that disappointment transformed into anger and then into something else even more powerful in the form of MOTIVATION. The good news is that despite my disappointment with much of my colleagues in the fitness industry that I’m sure you’ve witnessed yourself there’s still some quality people in the industry that I consider Honey Badgers in the face of this authoritarian insanity. As a good example one such guy would be my friend Jerry Kuykendall.
I’m honored to have Jerry on today to join me in this piece to share some of his experiences and to have him elaborate a bit more on the dire situation we’re currently in facing the fitness industry.
The Crash and Burn Of The Fitness Influencer
Hello, my name is Jerry Kuykendall and I have the honor and pleasure of serving the great people of this planet by guiding them to optimal states of health, fulfillment, and happiness.
In my work, there is a very specific way to get to the root cause of what is blocking people's ability to thrive. Although the ailments and complaints presented to me by my clients may seem unrelated, they aren’t. The simple truth of the matter is that we must get 100% real about the role that we play in our own misery.
The way we see the world with our own self-imposed obstacles, shadows, resistances, and projections are all major contributors to most ailments. This holds true for depression, anxiety, obesity, back pain, and stress. You must also marry that with your core values and sense of purpose. It never fails, when you sell this idea and put the corrections in place, people heal…fast.
Make sure you visit Jerry’s website here to learn more about his services and products.
Also without fail, if an individual fails to see their own role in their misery, they will never be capable of obtaining the healing they seek. Their shadows continue to rule their reality. Resistances and fear will dominate their mental landscape, and they cannot make rational choices or reconcile their behavior and the results of said behavior.
If this sounds familiar it should, because for the last two years we have been told that we must wait for an approved authority figure to tell us what to be scared of, how scared we should be, and what the only solutions are to deal with the imposed threat.
This way of conducting our health comes with a gigantic cost of doing business. As you may have noticed, the fitness industry is littered with influencers who make claims about supplements that they use, workout regimens that they follow, and drugs that they are supposedly not taking. What this leads to is a culture of narcissistic influencers. These people will sell their soul to the devil for an unattainable physique that results in marketability, clicks, follows, and subscriptions.
None of this is a surprise knowing the personality profile of these individuals. Many of these people in these influencer positions are only scared to lose their status and power as an influencer. Meanwhile the truth that many of these influencers hide about health is that the air, soil, water, plants, and animals provide your health with everything that is needed to thrive.
These post-COVID influencers simply kowtowed to this narrative of fear while being afraid of losing their own social accounts and their followers. Instead of explaining how the innate and adaptive immune system is capable of responding to healthy choices, they chose to sell you an at-home workout while you were being locked down and locked out of the gyms.
Instead of touting the importance of managing respiratory oxygen saturation in the blood, pulse rates, heart rate variability, and oxidation of cells these people chose to publish cute video reels of themselves sweating with their masks on. They ignored the fact that we were being thrust into a human experiment all while being in direct violation of the Nuremberg code. They even told you to be part of the experiment. Was it really all about them wanting to get back to their normal?
Fast forward two years later and the fitness content around the industry is more or less the same. The industry loops the repetitive scenario with someone working out with some inspirational quote playing in the background preaching about blood, sweat, and tears. In other words, this is all the same BS that we have been talking about since the internet and fitness decided to joined forces.
The people with the most influence, credibility, and social proof chose to continue chasing dollars, likes, subscriptions, and group enrollments. These influencers did this while enforcing rules in their community groups with ”No talk about politics or COVID”. Instead of being Warriors for the light, they chose to remain silent. Many were even worse because they promoted the theater of masks, all while our freedoms were being stripped away one by one.
This absolute beta-like behavior has resulted in the bastardization of natural immunity, with people refusing to go outdoors, with people refusing to see loved ones, with people refusing to let go of fear, and with people refusing to love and enjoy life.
This all happened because people did not speak up, influencers did not talk about what was actually important, and instead chose to stick their head in the sand waiting for the so-called normal way of life to return.
In closing, I'd like to highlight the benefits that have come out of this awakening. The fitness industry has been exposed from all of this just as the medical, financial, and governmental bodies have all been exposed.
You see much of the fitness industry, just like the other institutions here, has never been about getting you healthy. It's been more about creating a path to foster your dependency on it in order to prop it up just like the medical system is propped up.
What’s important now is that you must learn to use your intuition and then see with more clarity exactly what influencers are exposing to you. If these influencers truly got into this game to help you get healthy they would see the obvious intent with this latest plandemic. The intent has been to further imprison you and to create another environment of dependency on a made up authority that has imposed itself onto our daily lives.
If a fitness influencer does not give their opinion on this very important matter one way or the other then they don't care about you.
Why do I say that?
There is nothing more important in this world right now for us “to get real with” than this current state of media and Pharma induced mass psychosis. We must be outspoken if we wish to thrive as individuals and as a species.
If fitness influencers/professionals are not commenting on it then they are scared of losing something that isn't nearly as important as what they should be talking about. Those that refuse to address this are only phony empty shells, or avatars, who are not guided by core values and a real sense of purpose.
I’ll leave you with a question.
Knowing what we know now with all the information and data that has been available almost this entire time….
If we reverse engineer the content and phony mask theater of these “fitness influencers”, what would you say their sense of purpose and core values really are?
The Wrap Up
I’ve got to say that this piece from Jerry certainly echoes everything that I had experienced during the COVID lockdowns and rings even more true today. I understand that businesses have traditionally not wanted to get involved with calling out a political stance on an issue, but during COVID that belief was flipped on its head.
The narrative is one that everyone participated in and took a stance on whether they knew it or not. This was done simply by complying to wear a mask, or to maintain social isolation, or to lend support to politicians and bureaucrats that rolled out these Marxist ideas in the first place.
The world isn’t all sunshine and rainbows and when it comes to the fitness industry this is probably more true than just about any other industry. I’m not going to sit here and pretend that good fighters within the industry don’t exist. Guys like Jerry are in the fight and I am too, but we have an uphill battle.
Why do I say this?
I say this because cowardice is contagious when it comes to people staying silent and going along with the herd. It’s always easier to remain silent in the face of social pressures. Thankfully I believe that if you’re reading this then you have that streak of courage within you just like Jerry and myself.
Yes, I’d say I like to think that we are more like Roddy Piper in that bank scene in the movie refusing to back down from the mob than those that would rather go along to get along.
Cowardice is contagious, but thankfully COURAGE is contagious too.
“Courage is the first of human qualities because it is the quality that guarantees all the others.”--Winston Churchill

I have a few groups that I could have brought this up (my pages so screw em), but I didn't since it didn't come up. I think about it now and I failed in passing information that should have been passed
This is excellent and exactly what my wife and I who own a small strength studio, have witness. Frankly it’s disheartening to say the least.
