Everyone has a plan ‘till they get punched in the face.--Mike Tyson
One of the first things you’ll experience when you find yourself in the middle of a fight is quickly learning your opponent and more importantly learning more about yourself.
However, when you find yourself in the middle of a fight you should be looking at how your opponent fights in terms of recognizing both their strengths and their weaknesses. Of course, there’s no better way to go about doing this than by training and learning what it feels like to be in a fight in the first place. After all, preparation and experience are always a difference maker.
I’ve spent years training many fighters and helping them to hone their physical skills by helping them to get stronger and more athletic to prepare them for stepping into the ring. Because of this I also took the time to train and spar in the art of Muay Thai kickboxing for years myself.
Now to be clear I’m no professional fighter, but I did desire to learn the art of an effective fighting skill in order to make myself a more prepared citizen and to add to my fitness regimen as well. I look at life as an opportunity to develop skills. After all, life is about possessing skills in order to make yourself useful and in doing so you enable yourself the freedom to pursue various life goals.
To me such skills consist of things that you can offer in order to practice a trade in order to earn a living, some skills are necessary for problem solving, and other skills are necessary for the purpose of personal protection and safety.
The point is that life is always going to test you and when that test presents itself at times it’s definitely going to come at you in waves. As the old saying goes, when it rains, it pours.
So because of this I am a big believer in always learning and seeking out the knowledge and the know-how of how to go about getting things done.
The Difference Between Victory and Defeat
I remember the first intense moment I stepped into the ring to spar when I was training in Thai boxing. If you’re not familiar with Thai boxing it is a stand up form of fighting that involves clinching and striking with the hands, feet, elbows, and knees.
Just training in the art of Muay Thai is incredibly challenging at the beginning because of the tremendous amount of cardiovascular and physical conditioning that is required in order for a trainee to achieve even a basic level of skillful effectiveness.
Until this baseline of conditioning is met, not only are you in a fight with someone else when sparring, but you’ll quickly find that you’ll be in the middle of a fight with yourself to just keep pushing forward during the sparring session. The physical exertion and lingering exhaustion will test you in the fighting art of Muay Thai.
Now getting back to that first sparring session I was telling you about, I remember that I had not yet achieved that necessary baseline of conditioning to spar as effectively as a more seasoned trainee. As I exchanged blows with my opponent that day I can remember the feeling of wanting to quit, but I found myself constantly fighting with that voice inside of me so that I wouldn’t give in to it.
It was tough as I remember feeling so fatigued it was all I could do to literally hold my arms up, let alone attempt to throw a punch or a kick. My opponent that day was a bit more seasoned than me and I remember during the round trying to back off a bit on my striking just to catch my breath and he just kept on coming right after me. He was relentless.
I hate to admit it, but truthfully I remember how dreadful that feeling was in that very moment. Of course, the blessing was that I made it through to the end of the final round and after surviving that very intense battle it only set me up to be stronger for the next time I would step foot inside the ring.
That was one of the toughest workouts I had ever experienced and as a professional strength and fitness coach I can tell you that I’ve experienced many tough workouts in my day.
However, after that day I kept on training the following week, the week after that, and the week after that. I would go on consistently training twice a week for several years. Like anything in life I realized that it took many hours and repetitions to achieve a more advanced level of conditioning and skill for this art of fighting.
I know I led off initially telling you about the first time I stepped into the ring to spar prior to developing a more advanced level of skill and conditioning, but I also remember the feeling of sparring when I was at a more advanced level of skill and conditioning.
You see it was a few years later that I was able to step inside the ring to easily spar even after a long workout, but this time the circumstances were very different. Contrary to that struggle I had the first time inside the ring sparring, while lacking a solid baseline of skill and conditioning, at this particular time my skills were significantly better and my conditioning and fitness level were optimal.
In this sparring session I remember feeling like I was in complete control and that I could even anticipate my opponent’s moves because of the experience that I had gathered from the previous few years of consistently training and learning.
This time not only could I keep up, but I found that I could literally set the pace of the sparring session with my opponent. I have always worked to be stoic in my approach to things and even if my opponent was coming at me with everything he had I remember remaining calm while relentlessly continuing to advance my combinations of strikes at him.
I’ll admit that my opponent on this day was pretty aggressive and he came at me with pretty much everything he had, but as I remained calm and continued to relentlessly advance on him I noticed something very unique happened in a brief moment.
After a couple of rounds of him throwing everything he had at me only to have me react by continuing to throw more combinations of punches and kicks in return all the sudden he started getting frustrated and showing immediate signs of fatigue.
It was almost like this happened out of nowhere, but I noticed that he went from operating at a pretty high gear of intensity to all the sudden slowing down due to the battle fatigue that started to settle in on him both mentally and physically. I believe this happened combined with the fact that he realized that I wasn’t slowing down either. More importantly, with a cold stoic demeanor, I always made it a point to do the best I could at not showing how fatigued I might have felt in those tough sparring sessions as well.
I remembered being where he was my first time and realized that his will to fight was starting to wane. Of course, even though we were sparring fairly aggressively we were only sparring so it was at this point that I started to speak up and encourage him.
This is the part that I always enjoyed with getting the opportunity to help someone out particularly after they put forth a great effort. At this moment even though I realized his will to continue the fight was waning I didn’t want to break it as we were training to improve one another and not engaging in a competitive fight.
So you’re probably wondering, Brandon where are you going with this?
Well the art of Muay Thai is a great way to learn and practice for the purpose of fighting a physical fight, but at the same time when we look at life there are many different forms of fighting and most of those types of fights never involve a physical fight at all.
As a huge example when you look at the current cultural and political landscape we’re literally seeing a historic moment in human history where there are Communist/Nazi global factions that are waging war against the individual citizens of every country on the globe.
It’s my perspective, and probably the perspective of most critical thinking people reading this, that the old monikers of Republican versus Democrat, or Conservative versus Liberal are no longer the fight that is truly taking place today in 2024.
No, those are old monikers that no longer really apply to the current political system that we’ve all been familiar with most of our lives.
The political fight that is happening now involves an entirely corrupt Washington D.C. establishment of both Republicans and Democrats that are literally trying to destroy the country by causing the open border invasion, destroying our currency, censoring speech, trying to slander, bankrupt, and imprison anyone who opposes them with the use of media and lawfare.
They have relentlessly attacked Donald Trump and indicted him more than the infamous Chicago gangster Al Capone.
They’ve slandered his name, lied, stormed his property, and are trying to imprison all of his supporters and previous cabinet members. In this fight the corrupt establishment order of Washington D.C. have been relentless in their fight to make sure Trump doesn’t become president and I have no doubt that they will continue to be ruthless even though it is the stupidest thing that they could ever possibly continue to do.
Why is that you ask?
Well, despite the global communists literally owning all of the institutions involving the Administrative State Media (ASM), the universities, the financial systems, and even Hollywood Trump continues to grow in power and popularity to the point that now they are literally making him into something more than the 45th president. They are making him an international folk hero and the coming 47th president.
They have and are literally throwing everything that they can at Trump including the kitchen and bathroom sink and he continues to come back stronger and stronger.
With so much at stake concerning the direction of the country and the intensity of this political, cultural, and economic fight you’d think that Donald Trump would be losing his will to fight, but that’s not the case at all.
In fact, the establishment system is losing its will to fight as they are waning in their enthusiasm just the way I noticed with my opponent in that sparring session when I could set the pace of the fight.
The difference between victory and defeat in this fight boils down to one thing and one thing only and that is willpower.
The Wrap Up
So you’re probably thinking, Brandon how do you know that the establishment’s will to fight is waning?
It’s simple because the New York Times recently published an article back on February 19th titled Anti-Trump Burnout: The Resistance Says It’s Exhausted.
If you haven’t read this article I’d highly recommend it as to me it says that their will to fight, or at least their will to maintain the normal level of outrage in the fight, is definitely waning.
However, unlike my experience in those sparring sessions I shared with you in this article, this fight that the New York Times article is referring to is completely serious and is in no way a friendly sparring session where we should help the opposition. No, this fight is about willpower and it’s about one side breaking the will of the other in order to win one of history’s biggest fights to date.
However, despite the establishment global communists/Nazis having all the money and the power they do NOT have the hearts and minds of most all of the people.
The one thing I do know from all my years of training fighters that compete in hard hitting matches is that if the opponent is waning that is the time to dial up the offense and to finish the fight with a knockout or an all out submission.
The goal is to actually go through with breaking the will of the enemy by continuing to overwhelm them culturally, politically, and economically with everything we can use at our disposal.
The military general Sun Tzu understood that “Supreme excellence consists of breaking the enemy’s resistance without fighting.”
Of course Sun Tzu is referring to the aspects of a physical or kinetic fight here, but the quote illustrates the point of this cultural and political fight that is white hot right here and now.
These globalist communist/Nazies are literally psychopaths that are already responsible for killing a ton of people with the pandemic, the Ukraine/Russia war, and with the wars of the Middle East. The stench of desperation is getting heavier and heavier with them desperately doing everything they can in order to continue to hold onto the reins of power.
Just like with any psychopath they thrive off of manipulation and accomplishing their goals by controlling any given situation that they desire to insert themselves into. Because of this trait that they possess when you take a minute to really think a bit deeper about the cultural and political fights that are occurring against both President Trump and every American citizen this becomes apparent with their blatant ignoring of the constitution and the rule of law.
Given the fact that they desire to control every situation that they involve themselves in when they are literally throwing everything they can at both President Trump and society at large it’s obvious that they are going to get even nastier.
However, just like that sparring session I described when I noticed my opponent’s will to fight was starting to wane it was because I knew that he knew he had thrown everything he could at me with a battery of combinations in order to try and slow me down. Yet after he did this leaving himself exhausted all he saw was my continued advancement.
I’m not trying to prop myself up saying this I promise because I had been where he was before as I described earlier. However the point here is to illustrate that when the enemy has literally thrown everything they can at you, especially when they have all the big guns and resources, yet when the smoke clears and all they can see is that you are still advancing on them while growing in strength this is how you break their will.
Just remember that and understand that now is NOT the time to get complacent, but to dial up the offense and keep sharing the information, supporting alternative platforms, and using your economic power to support businesses that believe in a freedom first message.
How much willpower do you have?
Whether you answer that question here in the comments or not we’re all going to find out come this November.
However, if you do want to help dial up the offense and encourage others that are in this fight the way I encouraged that guy I was sparring with then make sure you give this article a like, a comment, and a share to help to bring this fight a victory to those who love freedom.
