Gold is easy to verify as it's minted just like money. The coins/bars are legal tender.

FDR was the president responsible for confiscation at the time during the Great Depression.

As far as not trusting paper or digital notes for confirming a hold on assets the banks, your retirement 401k, Trusts, IRAs, etc do all of that with all of your money now.

You do realize that you do not own the money that is held in your bank as that money is now the property of the bank as you become a creditor that the bank owes that money back to.

This is the fundamental misunderstanding people have about the entire banking and financial system.

Thank you for sharing your feedback.

Regarding the topic of the article, it's good to see someone actually deconstruct the 'peace through strength' meme for the 21st centurey. What kind of new vectors for influence do you think are emerging from this highly globalized and interconnected system?

Hey Daniel thank you for taking the time to comment and share your question.

You ask a very good question and I believe we are currently seeing all of the negative problems that have sprouted up with the globalist marketplace, particularly as it relates to our trading relationship with China.

We have basically financed and built up our enemy in every way possible and it's showing now.

I'm of the belief that the center of gravity of most everything that is evil in the world leads back to Beijing.

The CCP has carved out our manufacturing and as a result of that they steal all of our intellectual property.

They use this technology to build up their weapons systems, their military, AI, etc.

Then they merge with elites to infiltrate our society and political offices. They buy up our farmland, infiltrate our government, capture the Canadian government to our north, and the South American governments to our South.

In addition to this they have flown spy balloons overhead, they engage in chemical warfare using the cartels as their mules to deliver the fentanyl into our society to kill us.

Of course, I've already touched on what they're doing with biological warfare with their Wuhan lab and now they're engaged in a more direct economic warfare against us with the rare earth minerals.

In terms of the negative outcomes associated with globalism we're seeing the maximum of that fast approaching its climax right now.

Of course, this doesn't mean I am a total protectionist in terms of trade, but there's no good that will come from globalism when we allow our worst enemy to manufacture a substantial majority of our critical goods.

History will show that getting into business with the CCP was the stupidest thing that we've ever done as a nation.

Thank you for joining the conversation and please don't be a stranger.
