Being a GenXer I was raised to understand my environment. Conversely, I believe society at large has been trained to ignore the environment.
As a result of this, most people do not think through problems as our culture has shaped society to be very accepting of embracing subpar effort when it comes to individual performance. This is due to the fact that our media and education system doesn’t want to teach people how to think, but would rather indoctrinate society by telling people what to think. Because of this I’ve noticed many people lack an understanding of both themselves and their environment.
Over the span of my adult life I have witnessed a deterioration in many areas of society where people should possess a basic understanding of the world and how it works, but just simply don’t. This is not a judgement as much as it is a simple observation of culture and reality.
This lack of understanding of the environment, how the world works, and people’s lack of understanding of themselves is the result of a system that has been shaped for the sole purpose of creating this outcome.
Even for people who have understood the problems of the world and the problems that have infected our culture, political system, media, and education system, the system itself has been designed to shut these people out.
However, this all changed once the pandemic hit back in 2020 and the insane level of corruption, evil, and incompetence that has infected our institutions was exposed on a mass scale.
Because of this, I felt compelled to start my Substack blog and podcast in order to shed light on the problems that have always been clear to me and to share them in a way to hopefully bring some clarity to you in your journey to seek more knowledge and understanding about the world and your environment.
One thing about life that I understood long ago is that the process of learning and understanding is something that never ends.
That process of learning that I’m referring to is exactly why this Substack and this Zenith Catalog exists.
You deserve a roadmap to navigate this era of institutional failure to help you to become the world’s most efficient autodidact as you climb rung after rung up the ladder of knowledge until you are able to achieve that Zenith mindset.
The world has been asleep for way too long and the reason for the world’s slumber can be blamed on the inability of society to recognize the significance of individual agency. This is the case because society at large has allowed itself to succumb to adopting a culture of institutional dependency. This dependent mindset has resulted in our society intellectually having been stuck in a more defensive posture when these institutions have either failed, or have waged outright war on the American citizen.
My aim here with this Zenith catalog and my Substack is to contribute to cultivating a culture of independent minded people who understand the power behind the application of knowledge, creative problem solving, and the ability to take initiative in fighting for individuality and against tyranny, especially when everyone else around you is clueless on how to think through what’s going on in the environment that surrounds them.
